Q: Tomorrow actors will come to the location and will read a few pages from the script. We will define a shooting schedule and it seems it will start soon. Do you have some advice for directing actors?
A: Thank you for the update! Directing actors: Have your vision as director. Sit down with each one of them, individually, alone. Discuss your vision with them. Discuss what you perceive the character to be like with the actor that is playing the character. Have them read a scene for you. Give them freedom to express themselves in the role they are playing.
